What initially started as a small project to create a 20-page ‘playbook’ for Googlers to run their own events, turned into a brief to completely reimagine one of Google’s largest global C-suite events: Atmosphere. We were asked to do everything from concepting the high-level positioning, to designing all the signage and collateral for the entire event.
We worked closely with the Google team to develop a new visual identity and messaging platform for Atmosphere that was executed across every channel. Our designers created everything from EDMs to posters, floor decals, coffee cups and presentation decks for keynote speakers. Our writers even composed multiple presenter speeches. Every aspect needed to be scalable across multiple events APAC, including region-specific translation. From taking over the Roppongi Hills district in Tokyo for an 8000-person event through to an exclusive C-level half-day for 300 senior executives in Melbourne, the Atmosphere event series in 2016 was a huge success, setting attendance records in nearly every region.
